The article presents an attempt to show the specific features of the German legal language in the chosen official reports from the town chancellery Sibiu of the 16th century, on the area of German settlement in the East. The aim of the exploration is to answer the question whether the examined reports constitute the pattern of the official report as a text type. The author focuses on the graphemic and lexical levels of the report. The background for such defined research area is the outlining of structure and function of the reports.

Der Beitrag ist als Versuch einer textlinguistischen Analyse der Protokolle im Hermannstädter Protokollbuch aus dem 16. Jh. konzipiert. Er verfolgt das Ziel, die Frage zu beantworten, ob die explorierten Eintragungen im Protokollregister als Schema eines Vermerks im Protokollbuch und somit als Texttyp solch eines Eintrags angesehen werden dürfen. Der Autor fokussiert seine Aufmerksamkeit ebenfalls auf die Struktur sowie die charakteristischen graphematischen und lexikalischen Merkmale eines solchen Vermerks. Der Hintergrund des so umrissenen Untersuchungsgebietes ist wiederum die Skizze der Struktur und der Funktion eines Protokollbuches und dessen Eintragungen.
