[Abstract = %22After Poland regained its independence%2C Cz%C4%99stochowa was one of the largest cities in terms of population. In relation to football%2C it was treated as a province%2C and the sport discipline itself was just developing. The stadiums were created as well as the 1st Stadium dedicated to football%2C which influenced the dissemination of this discipline. The number of clubs with the football section increased every year. In 1923%2C two clubs from Cz%C4%99stochowa and one from Rak%C3%B3w formed the Cz%C4%99stochowa %E2%80%98C%E2%80%99 division%2C performing under the auspices of the Krakow Regional Sports Association. Four years later%2C there were already two groups of fourteen teams in genral. Teams from Cz%C4%99stochowa competed under patronage of Sosnowiec Subdistrict Football Association. Between 1919%E2%80%931927 neither of teams from Cz%C4%99stochowa got promoted to division %E2%80%9CA%E2%80%9D. In the year 1927 Cz%C4%99stochowa Sub-District Football Association was established%2C whose functioning had a significant impact on the further development of football in Cz%C4%99stochowa. In that period of time the best teams were%3A Cz%C4%99stochowa Sports Club%2C %E2%80%9CVictoria 1922%E2%80%9D Cz%C4%99stochowa Sports Club%2C Sports Club Czestochowa and Sports Club %E2%80%9CWarta%E2%80%9D Czestochowa.%22]
