[Abstract = %22The article presents sailing as a method of rehabilitation and re-socialization of disabled people. The object of interest and purpose of the considerations is mainly the impact of sailing on the human body%2C its impact on raising self-esteem and interpersonal relations of people with disabilities. Participants in the cruises were people with various disabilities%2C including those with impaired vision%2C impaired hearing%2C dysfunction of the motor apparatus%2C as well as mentally handicapped. In addition%2C the participants of the cruises were people from specific social groups%3A teenagers addicted to psychotropic drugs%2C from environmentally threatened communities%2C socially maladjusted%2C as well as children from orphanages.
